Circle Of All Nations in Perth, ON

Great venues are numerous along the Tay and Rideau River, and song fills the air on lots of lush summer nights. But this year, something really different will happen:

The town of Perth will host The Awakening - a gathering for everybody about Indigenous wisdom, Mother Earth and racial harmony, hosted by the Circle Of All Nations. Did you know, that Perth, Ontario, is considered a traditional centre of activity of the Algonquin nation? It sure will be from the 4th to the 7th of October for a spiritual gathering and Pow Wow of members of all races, peoples, nations.

To organize a spiritual gathering is something Brent had to do, he once said. The head of Merriwolf Productions brought up three sons together with a native of the Algonquin Nation, and when asked, that's what he answered:

"When I was living in Calgary, something told me, I had to go back to Ontario. I needed to do something to help this world, a contribution to a greater thing, a more meaningful activity..."

"THE AWAKENING

Humanity is in crisis. Time is short and we must awaken our sleeping consciousness in order to turn crisis into opportunity. We must all come together, all colours of humanity, in order to heal ourselves and heal Mother Earth.

Grandfather William Commanda, elder of the Algonquin Nation of Turtle Island has worked all his life to assist humanity in understanding its relationship to the natural elements of air, earth, fire and water and how our responsibility as caretakers must be expressed in our daily life. His message can be accessed by viewing his website Circle of all Nations which will give one the perspective and understanding of his timely message. A gathering of elders of Turtle Island is proposed in Perth, Ontario, October 5th to 7th 2007 in order to bring together wisdom keepers, traditional grandmothers and grandfathers, in order to share the the vision of healing ourselves and Mother Earth. It is proposed that traditional elders will gather their to share their wisdom with all others to assist humanity in this time of crisis.

From West to East, North to South, the call goes out to the wisdom keepers to gather at Perth, Ontario and share the stories of sovereign elders. Many drummers and dancers will participate in order to ground the the message of sharing in the hearts of the participants. In Cusco, Peru resides a spiritual messenger of the Inca teachings, who exchanged Condor and Eagle feathers with Grandfather William Commanda in 1998 on Victoria Island of the Ottawa River and in Maniwaki, Quebec in 2000. His message, entitled 'The Awakening', is as follows:

Today, after 2000 years, the Sun is rising. Its rays bring health, purity and wisdom for the healing of all humanity. The ancient Andean people, the Incas, followed the laws of Mother Nature (Pachamama) and the Great Spirit Creator (Pachacamag). They knew the Sun to be the center of powerful magnetic energies whose life each living thing depended upon. Sun rays are the gift of the Great Spirit, giving life and radiance to all of nature.

Pachamama is both divine and sacred. She is composed of the five elements of moon, sun, earth, water and air. All learning begins from within; learning, knowing, respecting oneself. Everything around us comes from Pachamama, the Mother Earth, and the invisible comes from the Father Creator - the soul and the spirit. Therefore we must devote our lives to the Mother Earth and the Father Creator, venerating them and living according to their laws. We have received our physical bodies from Mother Earth and our spiritual body from our Father Creator.

Each day we give thanks to the Creator and Mother Earth for our maize (corn) and for the work of the nature spirits. Pachamama is our paradise, our glory, and ou final place of rest.

All people everywhere are children of God - one Mother and one Father - and therefore we are all brothers and sisters. How happy our parents would be if they saw their children living in peace, naturally, in harmony, according to the laws of nature. When we recognize and respect our natural mother and father then we are blessed by them and receive their protection from all evil.

The return of the Inti Churincuna brings message of peace, love and spiritual liberation from our Father Creator, Pachacamag, from the center of the Sun to all people everywhere.

The Sun, Tegsi Wiricocha, illuminates our lives and through the power of this light we reach the Father Creator. Many Incas incarnated spiritually from the heart of the Sun and worked within the laws of Wilkanina, the sacred fire. With love we have come and with love we have reached God.

We must return to the Ways Of Nature and recognize that we are part of the sun, moon, earth, water and air. That Mother Earth is within us and we within her. Each of our lives are divine temples of Mother Nature and Father Creator.

We must return to spiritual principles for our guidance our sacred living mother. She knows that we are sick - victims of our egotisms - and wishes to heal us with her natural medicines of pure air, clean water, fertility and solar rays.

We must return to the Ways of Nature in the ways we live each day, eating and drinking naturally fresh foods and drinks without chemicals, avoiding alcohol and drugs which confuse, dull and degenerate the mind and body. Mother Nature provides us with the natural foods, beverages and medicine beneficial to our health and long life, free of disease. The plastic culture is a passing fashion which will soon subside with the renewal of the spiritual consciousness of the natural solar culture.

We must return to the Ways of Nature and remove the negativity in our lives, the egotisms which blind us to the beauty.
